Volunteer Day: Caring for the Nursery

On the second "Volunteer Day," an enthusiastic team of volunteers gathered to care for a section of our nursery. They worked tirelessly to clean, prune, and rearrange plants, ensuring the area was well-maintained and conducive to healthy growth.

The focus of this effort was to improve the growing conditions for the plants. By increasing sunlight exposure, enhancing air circulation, and facilitating easier watering, the volunteers helped create an environment where plants can thrive. These improvements are a crucial part of our ongoing commitment to protecting and conserving the biodiversity of the Mt. Hymettus Aesthetic Forest.

Our work at the nursery will continue on the next "Volunteer Day," scheduled for Saturday, January 11, 2025. We warmly invite you to join us! Together, we can make a lasting impact. Visit our volunteering page to learn more about how to get involved and support our work.
