SNFCC Members at the Mt. Hymettus Aesthetic Forest
On Saturday, March 29, Philodassiki had the pleasure of welcoming members of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) to the Mt. Hymettus Aesthetic Forest, as part of the program “Exploring urban gardens and their history.” This new series of tours and workshops, curated by the SNFCC, aims to reconnect its members with selected green spaces across Attica.
The visit began with a brief introduction to the work of Philodassiki, followed by a guided walk through the Aesthetic Forest and its Botanical Garden. The day concluded with a hands-on seed ball workshop, offering participants the opportunity to engage with nature in a creative and meaningful way.
The Philodassiki Society of Athens warmly thanks the SNFCC for this collaboration, as well as all participating members for contributing to the vital connection between people and nature—within one of Athens’ most important green lungs.
