Cerebral Palsy Greece/Open Door returns to the Mt. Hymettus Aesthetic Forest

On Wednesday, March 20, Philodassiki had the great pleasure of once again welcoming Cerebral Palsy Greece/Open Door and its Gardening Workshop to the Mt. Hymettus Aesthetic Forest.

During the visit, participants took part in an educational workshop that included an introduction to the history and creation of the Aesthetic Forest, familiarization with the local flora and fauna, and hands-on plant care through soil preparation and the planting of aromatic herb cuttings.

Those who had participated in the previous visit had the chance to deepen their connection to the forest, further strengthening their sense of contribution and care. The repetition of the experience highlighted the value of continuity and regular contact with nature. New participants were warmly introduced to the forest environment, supported and guided by those who had already visited before.

We sincerely thank the Gardening Workshop team and Cerebral Palsy Greece/Open Door for their presence, collaboration, and the joy they brought to this visit as well.
